Town of Collierville Business Incentives
The Town of Collierville, through its IDB, offers incentives in the form of payment-in-lieu-of-taxes (PILOT), on a case-by-case basis to stimulate business attraction, retention, redevelopment and expansion. This PILOT incentive is determined by the number of full time jobs created, capital investment and an average wage target.
State of Tennessee Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Incentives
The primary goal of TNECD is to develop strategies to attract and retain business investment. One strategy is to offer incentives and grants. From FastTrack to Job Credits, from Industrial Machinery Credits to Sales and Use Exemptions, TNECD has tailored a variety of competitive and lucrative programs.
Shelby County Economic Development & Growth Engine (EDGE) Incentives
EDGE is the City of Memphis and Shelby County's economic development agency charged with administering current incentive programs and developing new programs to foster growth. EDGE offers a PILOT program, similar to the Town of Collierville's PILOT incentive.
Memphis Light Gas & Water (MLG&W) and Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) also offer commercial incentives.
